Northern has a policy of reducing safety of the line incidents by the adoption of appropriate measures which reduce the occurrence of, and mitigate the consequences of an operational safety incident. Northern establishes annual targets for safety of the line incidents and has processes in place to develop an annual Operational Risk Management Strategy and supporting action plan to deliver these targets.
