Overnight engineering work affecting Northern Rail services from Monday 27 until 05:30 on Friday 1 October 2010
The following train alterations will apply:
Monday
- 04:56 Blackpool North to Colne will be replaced by a bus between Blackpool North and Preston. The bus will leave Blackpool North at an earlier time.
- 05:42 Blackpool South to Colne will be replaced by a bus between Blackpool South and St Annes-on-the-Sea. The bus will leave Blackpool South at an earlier time.
Monday to Thursday
- 22:00 Blackpool South to Colne will be replaced by a bus between Blackburn and Colne.
- 22:14 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street will be replaced by a bus between St Helens Central and Liverpool Lime Street.
- 22:34 Stockport to Wigan Wallgate will be replaced by a bus between Bolton and Wigan Wallgate.
- 22:39 Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street will not call at St Helens Junction, Lea Green, Rainhill, Whiston, Huyton, Roby, Broad Green, Wavertree Technology Park or Edge Hill. A bus will run from Earlestown to Liverpool Lime Street calling at these stations.
- 22:47 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly will not call at Stockport. A replacement bus will run from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at Stockport.
- 22:48 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield will be replaced by a bus between Stockport and Macclesfield.
- 22:48 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by a bus between Altrincham and Manchester Piccadilly.
- 23:05 Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria will be replaced by a bus between Stalybridge and Manchester Victoria.
- 23:09 Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street will be replaced by a bus between Earlestown and Liverpool Lime Street.
- 23:12 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly will not call at Handforth, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, Heaton Chapel or Levenshulme. A bus will run from Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly calling at these stations.
- 23:14 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield will be replaced by a bus throughout.
- 23:20 Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate will be replaced by a bus throughout.
- 23:38 Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe will not call at Levenshulme, Heaton Chapel, Stockport, Cheadle Hulme or Handforth. A bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe calling at these stations.
- 23:55 Preston to Blackpool North will not run.
Tuesday to Friday
The 05:38 Colne to Blackpool South service will be replaced by a bus between Colne and Burnley Central. The bus will leave Colne at an earlier time.
