Engineering work between Leeds and Castleford from 23:00 on Sunday 12 September 2010
21:15 Lincoln Central to Leeds will not call at Normanton, Castleford and Woodlesford. A bus will run from Wakefield Kirkgate to Leeds and call at those stations.
22:26 Knottingley to Leeds will be replaced by a bus.

23:17 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will be replaced by a bus between Greenbank and Chester.

- 23:12 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly will not call at Handforth, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, Heaton Chapel and Levenshulme, a bus will run from Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly to serve these stations
- 23:14 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield bus replaces train between Stockport and Macclesfield
- 23:16 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria bus replaces train throughout
