Buses replace trains between Chorley and Preston.
Services between Manchester and Preston will run via an alternative route and not stop at Chorley.
Some late evening trains between Bolton and Chorley will be replaced by buses.
Services to and from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Carlisle, Oxenholme (Lake District), Blackpool North, Preston, Chorley, Bolton, Manchester Piccadilly & Manchester Airport will run to a revised timetable.
Midweek train times are all correct within the Online Journey Planner. At the present time, details of changes to train services at weekends are not available. Please check back nearer the date of travel

The 19:50 Whitehaven to Carlisle service will terminate at Maryport. A bus will be provided from Maryport to Carlisle.
The 21:53 Carlisle to Whitehaven service will start from Maryport. A bus will be provided from Carlisle to Whitehaven.
