Listening to Cyclists
Northern Rail Cycling Forum
We continue to develop our cycling strategy through the Northern Rail Cycle Users Forum, which brings together Sustrans, the Sustainable Transport Charity, Cyclists Touring Club, local cycling hubs, Passenger Transport Executives and local authorities.
Forum Activities
The Northern Rail Cycling Forum members are all keen cyclists. After each meeting cycling trips are organised by the members.
Cycling Strategy
As part of our franchise commitment, Northern Rail has produced a Cycling Strategy document which explains our policies and approach to cycling.
Cycling Rangers
Cycling Rangers are recruited from within Northern to promote cycling amongst staff.
