East Yorkshire Round Robin

Take the train in either direction on this circular tour including the Yorkshire Coast line. An exciting day out with plenty of places to hop off and explore, such as Scarborough with its sweeping sandy bays overlooking the North Sea or the market town of Beverley. Visit Hull on the Humber estuary or experience life as a Viking in York's Jorvik museum.

Settle - Carlisle Line Day Ranger

Travel the Cumbrian Coast Line with Northern
The 72-mile route from Settle to Carlisle takes you through the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, over the 24 arches of the Ribblehead Viaduct before plunging into the longest tunnel on the line at Blea Moor. Emerging onto the side of Dentdale, the line leaves the Dales at Garsdale and makes its way through the gentle, lush rolling hills of the Eden Valley, with rural villages and market towns before arriving at the great border city of Carlisle.

Yorkshire Coast Day Ranger

Travel the Cumbrian Coast Line with Northern
Take the train and discover the many towns and villages along the Yorkshire coastline. Continue by bus along the coast from Scarborough, the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast, to Whitby famous for its abbey and for Bram Stoker's Dracula! One ticket covers you on the train and also on Arriva buses between Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby.

Time restrictions

You can use your South Pennines Day Ranger, East Midlands Round Robin or East Yorkshire Round Robins on trains timed to depart after 0845 Monday to Friday. You can use them at any time during weekends and Bank Holidays. The Settle - Carlisle and Yorkshire Coast Day Rangers are valid at any time.

Where to purchase

You can buy your Day Ranger or Round Robin tickets at your local staffed station. When boarding at an unstaffed station, or if the ticket office is closed, you can buy them from the conductor on the train.

Prices

The prices shown are valid until 1 January 2013.

Railcard and Child discounts

Railcard discounts are available on most of our Day Ranger and Round Robin tickets (where conditions of the railcard are met). Children 5 - 15 years old inclusive travel at half the Adult fare except on family tickets, where no further discount applies. Please see individual Day Ranger or Round Robin tab for more details.
